Background:

Archmage Antonidas was the leader of the Kirin Tor of Dalaran and teacher to the Archmage Jaina Proudmoore of Theramore Isle. He was killed by the Scourge during the invasion of Dalaran, when Arthas together with Kel'Thuzad invaded Dalaran to obain Medivh's spellbook to summon Archimonde into Azeroth.

This cloak is the first real upgrade from http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32524, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32331, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33591 and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28766 a travesty that the only good cloak comes off of Kil'Jaeden himself.

Reckless Pyrestone for an insane total of 37 spell haste and 50 dmg, or even Veiled Pyrestone to help out with hit, making it 5 hit, 32 haste, 50 dmg.

In WotLK, soon after you've ran through a few heroics or the first 10 man raid at the latest, then the most significant thing about this cloak, game-mechanically wise, will be that it's merchant sell price is the highest of any cloak you could still possess from BC.

Funny thing is if socketed with a Teardrop Crimson Spinel this cloak has only 2 less healing than Shroud of the Highborne from Illidan and 1 extra Stamina and 3 extra Intellect with equal Haste Rating.

Eredar Lords seems to like Antonidas's stuff. Archimonde from CoT Can drop a shield that is also named something about Antonidas.

If you're a druid healer, this would be Best in Slot up until you reach level 80 since there's no item in the game that gives better itemization then this one.
