Rope spear? "GET OVER HERE" reference anyone? Too bad it only works on weapons, would have loved to death--err, rope pull someone across a battlefield then uppercut their head off with spine and everything.

Interesting ability, raises a few questions:

-What happens if you are disarmed while in possesion of someone else's weapon?

-What happens if you grapple someone else's weapon after being disarmed?

-What exactly determines the benefits gained from your stolen weapon/shield? Presumably item level, or perhaps spellpower/weapon DPS, but does it matter if they are spec appropriate?

These are associated buffs:
Grapple Weapon: Tank Upgrade! for Brewmasters: 5% less damage taken.
Grapple Weapon: Healer Upgrade! for Mistweavers: 5% more healing done.
Grapple Weapon: DPS Upgrade! for Windwalkers: 5% more damage done.
Each buff lasts for 15 seconds.

Just to note: Your character will actually "equip" these weapons until the effect of Grapple Weapon has dropped off it's target.

It's fun to see a Windwalker when you grapple a resto shaman. Mace + Shield. :P

This ability is a reference to the Rope Dart, a traditional Chinese weapon used by monks.

Can be used on adds during the Will of the Emperor (Jan-xi) encounter in Mogu'shan Vaults for 5% damage/healing/damage reduction. Should be popping it pretty much on cooldown during that encounter.

Most useless ability ever. and most bugged. half boss sayins immunite, half boss sayis "they dont have ranged wpn".. wtf?
and if I use it and it give me buff.. I dont see stats increased (dps)

Nice spell for anyone who pvps... effectively locks out any ret paladin, death knight, warrior, or rogue you may come up against.

When you use Grapple Weapon on an NPC, the bonuses are obtained if the level of the NPC is at least 1 level higher than you and of course if the disarm is successful.

Just noticed while rep grinding today that the buff you get from stealing a stronger weapon than yours is actually based on your stance, not your specialization. Nice to be able to get a DPS buff instead of the damage reduction one if you're tank specced and just trying to down things quickly.
