Whats funny is that currently, if you use this within Dark Apotheosis, it causes you to hang your head, hold up your arms and sink your legs into the ground. "Behold! I am a tree!"

anyone else a little underwhelmed by the graphics of this ability? it looks nothing at all like the giant wave of black and green energy that you can see the various Dreadlords use

all it does is conjure up a small cloud of green energy from your feet, which coalesces slowly and then moves forward maybe a yard or so... it's certainly a cool idea but doesn't feel very powerful at all... i know this ability was just introduced though so i'm hoping this graphic isn't final

i want the actual ability we see dread lords like Anetheron and Mal'ganis use, not this wimpy little green gas cloud, it has a listed ranged of 15 yards but the actual graphic only covers maybe 2-3 yards in front of you, druid's Typhoon got a snazzy new graphic, no reason they can't replace this crappy animation with something worthwhile

This is a very powerful control skill: it will attempt to interrupt/knockback every target it hits.

This spell is effected by Mannoroth's Fury, which is something a lot of people overlook.

It is about a 30yrd cone in front of you, which makes it very useful as a huge AoE interrupt and as a ranged knockback.

The following macro will stop any casts in progress, switch to Metamorphosis if you aren't already there, then cast Carrion Swarm. Hypothetically, it should work with one press, since meta is instant and carrion swarm is off the GCD. However, I found I have to spam it until carrion swarm finally goes off. Still, it's better than pressing escape to stop casting, your meta keybind to swap forms, then your carrion swarm button for the interrupt you wanted 5 seconds ago.

I can't find any similar functionality for Dark Apotheosis (it's not considered a stance), but if you're tanking or pvping where you plan to stay in DA indefinitely, the following will at least stop any in-progress spells. This is particularly useful if you have and are channeling Harvest Life or something, then need an interrupt right now. It also requires two key presses for me, even though it's not supposed to, but again is better than reaching for escape then your interrupt.

Finally, this will combine those two, so if you have spec 1 as your dps role, and spec 2 as your tank/pvp role, this will behave like the first macro in spec 1, and the second macro in spec 2. Switch "spec:1" to "spec:2" if the roles are reversed.

Important thing to note for people fighting pandaren rares: this does not seem to count as an interrupt for the purposes of putting healing mists on cd. just fought one, and she gets knocked back and immediately starts casting again.

Edit: The glyphed(aka no knockback) version works just fine

Without the range-improving lvl 90 talent, Carrion Swarm has about 10 yards range - so you need to be very close (melee is 5 yards) to your target.
