permanent metamorphosis? this is gonna be awesome! though, the damage bonus is reduced and the armor bonus removed completely, I dont see any real bad news on this.

You transform into a Demon, increasing damage dealt by 10.00%, disables the use of your damage over time spells but allows the use of powerful demonic abilities.

Designer Note:
Demonology's DPS rotation is being adjusted. In the end it will do just as much as Affliction/Destro. Don't panic.

Demonolgy used to be really boring to level up because you did not get Metamorphosis until level 69, now you get it at level 10! and it has only a 10 second cooldown, being only really limited by your resources not by your cooldown.

It is very similar now to a toggle ability like a Combat rogue's Blade Flurry. you switch it on and off through out combat.

Anyone have data on what the uptime of this buff should be? Seems like an interesting, new playstyle so far, but I'm seeing rough estimates of about half uptime personally. Not bad, and when soloing you can start in demon form before each fight!

Edit: I ask this because surely the rotation would allow for certain amounts of Demonic Fury over given time, and that number being a set number

Okay so what are all of the animations that Metamorphosis(Demon form) are capable of...

I know the casting animation and /talk but are there any other?

I know there use to be /kneel but for some reason that doesn't work anymore.

Demonic Fury is the new resources for Demonology Warlock, one can have 1,000 Demonic Fury max.
it generate by:

Shadow Bolt (+25)
Soul Fire (+30, guaranteed to critical)
Corruption (+4 each tick)
Hand of Gul'dan (+2 each tick, have 2 charges)
Fel Flame (+15)
Drain Life (+10 per sec) / Harvest Life (+10 per sec and +3 per sec on secondary targets)
Hellfire (+10 per sec and +3 per sec on secondary targets)
Firebolt / Felbolt (+8) Torment (+10) Lash of Pain / Bladedance / Shadow Bite / Tongue Lash / Legion Strike / Mortal Cleave (+12)
Firebolt (cast by Wild Imps / Imp Swarm) (+5)

when and only when Warlock have Demonic Fury, Metamorphosis can be activated to increase damage dealt by 24% (modified by Mastery: Master Demonologist). will be canceled when below 40 Demonic Fury and can be canceled manually. every sec (-6) and every spells can be cast consume Demonic Fury instead of mana:

Touch of Chaos to Demonic Slash (+60, have 2 charges)

Be aware that quests like It's Hammer Time cause you to generate a lot of Demonic Fury, while hitting objects for an unknown amount of damage, although this is quite trivial and off-combat.

If I'm reading this right, you collect ~~rings~~ -ahem- I mean Demonic Fury, so you can transform into ~~Super Sonic~~ I mean you Metamorphosis into Super Demon. Meanwhile your Demonic Fury lowers over time. Or am I horribly, horribly wrong?

Fun fact: While you may seemingly grow taller by entering this form, it's only an illusion. Your actual size is still that of your playable race.

For example: My Gnome Warlock is so small, he has to swim in a puddle. After getting out of the water and using Metamorphosis, he looks tall enough to stand in the water and not have to float, like a Human or Night Elf could. His size hasn't actually changed, however, so he still has to swim in the puddle even as a demon.

is some model error on this model on demon right hand is totaly deformed maybe next patch fix it? also missing some emote commands also if mage use illusion and make clones and this clones attack target they make demon voice but normal metamorphosis doesnt have voice ...pretty nice and usefull form but still full of errors :-(
