This 24 slot bag appears to be for a NON-BINDING bag. If this remains the case, you have my attention, Blizzard. It's still a crying shame that tailors don't have a special bag that rewards them for being tailors. Maybe a 32 slot bag that's unique and bop for very few mats? Tailoring doesn't even have a profession bag at all, let alone something really special.

To buy this pattern requires exalted reputation with the August Celestials faction. It can be purchased from Sage Lotusbloom at the Shrine of Two Moons (Horde) or Sage Whiteheart at the Shrine of Seven Stars (Alliance) for 50g.

One Royal Satchel requires 12 imperial silk.
12 imperial silk requires 96 bolt of windwool cloth.
96 bolt of windwool cloth requires 480 windwool cloth.
So one bag requires 480 windwool cloth. Four bags requires 1920 windwool cloth.
All 7 bank bag slots require 3360 windwool cloth. Four bags + All seven bank bag slot = 5280 windwool cloth.

Your point that giving a tailor special rewards more than others is silly.. Leatherworkers actually get two benefits as well, wrist enchants and leg enchants.. Enchanters get an enchant for BOTH rings. that's two enchants.. Alchemists get those alchemists stones, plus the benefit of making tons of money on transmutes which they click a button and people buy those all day long. Etc etc etc..

All the professions have benefits, and all of them have special mats that go along with those professions.. Tailors do get screwed the worst in the deal though, because EVERYONE can collect/sell their mats as well, which makes it even worse.. Tailors trying to make money right now are getting screwed because of super low cloth prices, and thus super low cloth anything. Naturally, people are dying to get trinkets, so inscription is once again making ungodly amounts of gold off crafting silly decks of cards. etc.

The professions are quite unbalanced when it comes to profit potential, which means it wouldn't hurt to give tailors a special piece they had such as a bag only they get, etc.. I honestly loved BC where tailors had a early benefit if they matched it with a cloth wearing class, by getting epics if they farmed hard and dedicated, that were BOP patterns/gear so only the tailors got them.

I miss those kinda benefits to professions, would have liked to of seen more of that, even whole crafted unique outfits.. The people who take the time to level crafting all the way to 600 and get rare recipes/exalted with factions should have something to show for it more than just a back/leg enchant or some extra sockets, or etc.

Either way - some bigger bags this time around without the ONLY option being 12 days worth of c/ds for a tailor, would have been nice.. These are going to be pricy as hell no matter which way you look at it, especially the first batch posted. I sure hope i can grind to 90 fast enough to get it.

Ok, I've been running low on bag space in MoP, so when I saw a new, bigger bag was available, I wanted it immediately. Unfortunately, there weren't any on ah. I was a little confused so I looked up more info on the item and it kinda explained itself.

First, you have to get to get to level 90 with tailoring skill. It's not impossible to do by any means, but getting to level 90 can take a while and having to have tailoring severely cuts down the number of players who can do it.

Then you have to get to exalted with August Celestials just to buy the pattern. This isn't cata where you can easily gain faction rep by putting on the faction tabard and do dungeons; you have to do daily quests day after day after day. Since it's bind on pick up, you can't even buy the pattern from someone else on ah, either.

Then you have issues with mats needed that Zakteh went into in his post. It's going to take a lot of woodwind cloth (turned into imperial silk) to make these. Those element of harmonies can speed things up, but if you have another crafting skill along with tailoring. Fortunately, enchanting (which seems to be popular to pair with tailoring) doesn't use element of harmony in any of its recipes, but using them to make imperial silk does mean you can't use them as currency to buy other trade skill recipes.

So with all this, yeah, it's gonna be kinda a pain to make these and the price is going to be pretty high on ah for a while (and that's only if you even see them on ah in the first place). For now, I'm going to sit on my embersilk bags for a bit longer and wait for the price to come down. If anyone has tailoring, it would be interesting to see how much you can get from putting one of these on auction.

Get to exalted with The Tillers as soon as you can. In addition to your usual cloth and mote farming methods (no pun intended), you get access to a total of 16 plots to farm.

If you want to get this as fast as possible without doing any dailies or faction related quests, I would suggest

1. Killing Zandalari Warbringers and Zandalari Warscouts for Stolen Celestial Insignias (Get a group / offer to pass on items / use Oqueue to jump to other realms)
2. Use Hozen Peace Pipe (7 day CD)
3. Immediately buy and use Grand Commendation of the August Celestials once reaching Revered status. (Will double rep gain)

blizzard needs to remove the reputation requirement for this recipe.

for a long-time player with 11 alts at max level, 5 of which are tailors, its a slap in the face that this type of item now requires you to get exalted with each alt.

in previous expansions, i used to churn out bags like this til all my alts had new bags. (and it wasn't a huge savings at all over auction house. it was just something to do). now there's no way i'll do it because each alt has to get exalted with a useless MoP faction.

best way to get this on your alt/main is

~~be in guild whit the rep bonus perk~~
Tag the faction your favorite for daily dungeon & scenario run rep bonus
Get Grand Commendation of the August Celestials as soon as possible
check for Hozen Peace Pipeallways when your near that place or got extra time to waste
kill few Zandalari Warbringer, Zandalari Warscout or War-God Dokah
Last step for maxium output
WHEE!

replace stuff farming whit daily dungeon or daily quest farming if you like

The fastest way to open up The August Celestials as early as possible (85+), so that you can add it as the faction you champion when doing dungeons, in my opinion, is to travel to timeless isle (swim there) and simply talk to one of the Celestial Guard's. This opens it up no bother, and while you are there you can grab yourself a Crystal of Insanity to make your life a little easier on the journey from 85 to 90 :)

if u can get a port to the shrine on ur tailor while still lvling that toon up and talk to the QM then u can champion this faction in the dungs as u lvl so by the time ur lvl 85 u should be at/around exalted
